Introduction

Cormac is a leading civil engineering contractor providing a wide range of specialist services in Cornwall and beyond. Wherever we work, our deep connections in our own communities give us a local perspective and a commitment to social value which makes us different from other contractors.

Cormac began as a business with a remit to service all the civil engineering needs of Cornwall. As a consequence, we have an extensive range of specialist skillsets, and can offer a true end-to-end service to our clients in Cornwall and beyond.

Cormac draws on its multi-disciplinary teams to provide an all-inclusive offering.

Cormac’s design teams take each project from the early concept stages, incorporating all aspects of planning and budgetary requirements.

Working with our in-house surveying, planning and geotechnical departments, we ensure that designs are in alignment with client needs, as well as social and environmental needs.

Cormac’s construction arm seamlessly moves an infrastructure project from the design and planning phase to build and successful completion.

Cormac offers ongoing maintenance of all infrastructure projects. The benefit of having worked on all phases of the project means that our Highways and Environment department has background knowledge on everything, from the initial designs to the specifics of construction elements and any social and environmental issues which need to be kept in consideration.

These three pillars form part of our Group-wide sustainability strategy, and help us drive towards a more fair, net-zero, future not just for our employees, but for the communities in which we work and live, and for the planet as a whole.
