Shape the future of your industry by offering T Level industry placements. Your guidance and support can inspire the next generation and create a brighter, more skilled workforce.

What Are T Level Qualifications?

T Levels are two-year technical programmes, designed with employers, to give young people the skills that industries need. T Levels give 16- to 19-year-olds a technical alternative to A levels. One T Level is equivalent to 3 A levels. Following a T Level students will progress into work, higher and degree level apprenticeships, or continue in education.

Who Are They For?

T Levels are great for students who are enthusiastic about a particular industry and wish to gain in-depth, hands-on knowledge. The qualification is ideal for those aiming for careers in sectors like healthcare, engineering, construction, professional services, digital technology, and many others.

How Can Businesses Get Involved? Industry Placements.

Your business can actively participate by offering industry placements to T Level students. By providing real-world work experiences, you contribute to mentoring, inspiring and shaping the next generation of skilled professionals. Hosting an industry placement is an excellent opportunity to engage with enthusiastic learners and identify future talent.

The industry placement is approximately 45 days delivered in an employment setting, but students will not be an employee and do not require to be paid. Employers are fully supported in the process by training providers.

T Levels and Apprenticeships

T Levels offer a solid progression to higher and degree level apprenticeships, providing students with a robust foundation of industry-specific knowledge and experience. Students completing T Level programmes are better prepared for apprenticeships and work, possessing a deeper understanding of their chosen field.

Employers hosting industry placements are more likely to retain this local talent by offering apprenticeships to placement students following successful completion of their T Level programme.
